The 3 Best Stress Reliever Tips by Nicole Leon

Dealing with the daily grind of life, it’s easy for stress to creep in and create havoc.  Managing stress levels is the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Here are three tips to get your stress levels down and your body to a healthier state:

  1. Put your phone and other electronic devices down for night and not check it at all.  One of the top issues people have been experiencing are addictions to their cell phones and electronic devices.  Your body needs time to decompress and relax while preparing to go to bed.
  2. Introduce laughter into your life and use your sense of humor. There is no need to be serious all of the time and laughing will help to release all of that tension.  Some great ideas include finding a hilarious video on Youtube or cartoons on TV such as Warner Bros Looney Tunes cartoons.  Laughing will also improve your immune system’s overall function.
  3. Think of one good thing that happened during your day before walking through the door to your family, friends or roommates.  Instead of venting about everything that happened in your day focus on sharing some good news.  It’s a good way to start off a conversation on a positive vibe.

All of these tips will help you to get your stress levels down and bring a much needed smile to your face.

I agree with the putting the phones away for a day. Hubby and I took a day where all we did was watch a miniseries.. and it was the most relaxed and least stressful day i have had in forever

Those are all great tips but I especially love the last one! It’s so important to not take work or other life frustrations out on your loved ones.

laughter is by far my BEST Stress relief. nothing else compares to it!

I need to learn to put down the phone, iPad and walk away from the computer more often. I truly have less stress when I do those things yet I seem to forget that in the moment.
